Spaces and members
Your items live in a space. A space can be yours alone, a family's or a business's: the difference is who sees what among its members.
Three kinds of spaces
| Space | For | Who sees what |
|---|---|---|
| My space | you alone | you see everything |
| My family | a household | everything is visible between members: items, their photos, their documents |
| Business | a company | a member only sees the items they create; the owner and the administrators see everything |
Your personal space is created with your account. For a family or business space, contact us from the contact page of the website. If you belong to several spaces, Switch space moves from one to the other.
Roles
| Role | What they do |
|---|---|
| Owner | everything, including the subscription and billing |
| Administrator | manages the space, its members and all its items |
| Member | creates and manages their items — in a family, sees the others' |
| Viewer | reads |
Inviting
Members › Invite someone: an e-mail address and a role. The person receives a link, valid for 7 days; they sign in or create an account with that address, then Join the space. Pending invitations can be revoked; a member can be removed (Remove) or change role (Change). Once removed, they lose access at once — on the web as in the app; their items stay in the space.
The number of members depends on the space's plan (Plans).
Inviting from a file
Import a file sends one invitation per line of a CSV file:
- Download the template: two columns,
email;roleseparated by semicolons; the role is optional (member by default) —ADMIN,MEMBERorVIEWER; - Read the file, then match the columns: which one holds the address, which one the role;
- Send the invitations. The summary counts the invitations sent, those already pending and the people already members. A faulty line stops the whole import: no invitation is written then, and the screen says which line to fix.
No account is created in advance: everyone joins the space by accepting.
Table and export shows the active members in a table that can be sorted, filtered and exported.
Opening locations to a member
In a business space, a member only sees their items; a location access opens others to them (Locations and contents).
Reports
Reports builds a table on your space's data — items, members, lost reports, found reports —, previews it and downloads it.
