Your data
My data, in your account menu, gathers your consents, a copy of your data and the deletion of your account.
Consents
Each acceptance — the terms of use and the privacy policy, news by e-mail — is kept with the text's version, its date and the interface used (web or mobile app). Receive the news or Stop receiving them can be changed here at any time.
When the terms change, Cegeta presents them at your next sign-in: you read them, then Accept and continue. If you do not accept them, you can export your data and delete your account.
Exporting your data
Prepare my archive: a ZIP archive, with your data as JSON and your files. It is prepared in the background — come back a few minutes later — then stays available for 7 days (Download the archive); every download is recorded.
Deleting your account
See how to delete my account, then Schedule the deletion. Deletion happens after a 30-day grace period: your account stays usable until then, and Cancel the deletion stops it — a deletion triggered by mistake, or by someone else, can be undone.
| Gone | your account, your devices and your preferences, and — if you are its only member — your space, its items, photos and documents, files included |
| Your QR codes | are revoked: an old sticker will never lead to someone else's item |
| Kept, anonymised | the ownership history of the items you transferred, and the security log, without your name |
| Conversations with a finder | are closed and detached from you, then erased entirely 90 days later |
| In a shared space | you lose your access; the space's items stay with the other members |
What Cegeta forbids itself
No third-party tracker, on any page; your data is neither sold nor used for advertising. What is published on a scan page is what you chose (What people who scan see). The details are in the privacy policy, in the website's footer.
