Cegeta on one page
Cegeta gives your things a memory. You stick a QR code on a bike, a suitcase, a dog's collar or a machine; that QR leads to a page that knows what the thing is, what it has been through and what to do if someone finds it — without ever showing your contact details.
In Cegeta, a tagged thing is called an item.
Two people, one QR
- You, the owner, see everything: the record, the photos, the documents, the values, the history.
- The person who scans needs nothing: a camera, a browser. They read what you made public, and can write to you — through a relay: neither your name, nor your address, nor your e-mail is shown to them, and you do not see theirs.
- By default, everything is private. A piece of data only becomes public because you decided so, and some never do: your name, your address, your phone number, your e-mail, purchase values, the full serial number.
